WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT — the real operator interface and the real signal-processing engine, recorded while running on a simulated signal source rather than live hardware. It is a recording on a loop, not a live feed, and not a performance claim — measured performance is in the technical information sheet. One thing the simulation gets wrong, worth saying plainly rather than leaving you to find it: it labels some people resting and sleeping, and the live system cannot do that. It detects people who are moving — it cannot distinguish a motionless person from an empty room — and it reports presence, an approximate count and which floor movement is on, rather than a precise coordinate. Readouts labelled breathing are an unvalidated development feature with no measured performance behind them.

Indoor range reduces ~30-50% per wall. ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 operates on 2.4 GHz — better wall penetration than 5 GHz. PCB antenna: up to 6 m; Alfa APA-M25 8 dBi panel: up to ~20–25 m LOS (spec-derived), 8–12 m through walls. Current setup: 3 TX (A1–A3) + 1 RX (B1) with Alfa APA-M25 on transmitters.

Ground floor
Floor is decided by which TX→RX links react to movement, each judged against its own quiet baseline — not by which link is strongest. Needs at least one transmitter per floor, with its floor set in configs/fusion.yaml. Shows “—” when the install is single-floor, nobody is moving, or two floors react too alike to separate.
